Prof. Prakash Narayan is a distinguished academic and a visionary leader in the field of sustainable development. He is currently serving as a Professor in the Department of Continuing Education and Extension at the University of Delhi. He brings over 35 years of rich experience in teaching, research and major administrative responsibilities. Under his mentorship, hundreds of scholars and students have engaged in impactful sustainable development programs and projects.
Prof. Narayan has made significant contributions to the upliftment of underprivileged sections of society through grassroots-level initiatives aimed at promoting education, healthcare and livelihood opportunities.
With a deep commitment to sustainable social development and environmental stewardship, Prof. Narayan has been actively involved in advancing Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) for more than 15 years. His efforts have focused on addressing social disparities and alleviating societal challenges through education, socio-economic capacity-building programs and innovative projects.
