Suramya is a company registered under the Companies Act 2013. At Suramya, we focus on achieving equitable and sustainable development. We work for community development, emphasising the welfare and upliftment of tribal, rural and underprivileged individuals and communities. At Suramya, we guide the entire project process, from conceptualisation to operation, maintenance, and overall implementation. We also keep our focus on environmental, social and economic aspects of the commissioned research and projects. Motivated by the Gandhian trusteeship model, cooperative movements around the world, and the present government’s significant focus on cooperatives, the Forum relentlessly works to implement these ideas into action by providing institutional support and acts as a bridge between stakeholders to empower the community, individuals, youth, and women to develop and promote local products. Suramya also works towards finding a broader market for their locally produced products, which helps empower local people and strengthen the community.
